Cute FTP Tutorial



1. Download the program from Cuteftp.com

2. Install the program and run it.

3. Push F4 to get to this screen if its not already loaded when you opened the program


4. Click on "Add Site" And fill out the information
  • Site Label - Just a name you want to give to this account

  • Host Address - The address you use to connect to your account (located in your welcome email)

  • UserID - Your username that was given to you when you signed up

  • Password - The password that was given to you when you signed up.

  • After filling out all your information push "Okay" then "Connect"


5. After the connection with your account has been established you will see that the screen is divided into 2 sections. On the left is your computer and on the right is the web server.

6. On the web server side double click on a folder named "public_html" and on the left hand side find the files you want to upload using the pull down menu. Then just select and drag the files over to the server and the upload will begin.
